New: BLÜCHER Roof Drainage

New roof drainage system from BLÜCHER
BLÜCHER launches a completely new line of products.
BLÜCHER has developed a complete stainless steel roof drainage system. The system consists of a gravity system and a vacuum system.
In the gravity system each roof drain is connected to a pipe and the water is led from the roof through downpipes to a below-ground pipework system. The pipes will be filled to around 30%. In the vacuum system, several roof drains are connected to one pipe and it will be possible to install the pipework horizontally beneath the ceiling, resulting in less below-ground pipework. The pipes will be filled 100%. This creates a significantly higher flow rate than in the gravity system. This means that the vacuum system can be designed with fewer drains and smaller pipes which can be led horizontally beneath the ceiling.
BLÜCHER can document a flow rate of up to 9 l/s for the gravity system and all the way up to 18 l/s for the vacuum system. The roof drainage system has undergone internal and external tests so it adheres to the demands of EN 1253 concerning design and development of drainage products. BLÜCHER recommends that the new products are installed in accordance with EN 12056 and VDI 3806.
BLÜCHER roof drainage system is available as from April 2011.
